Heather Bradshaw joined Merrigan Brown, PC as a paralegal in the fall of 2023, bringing with her over twenty years of legal experience in the Florida Workers’ Compensation Act and the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, and it’s extension the Defense Base Act.
Heather began her legal career in 2004 after earning her associate’s degree in paralegal studies. For the first eight years of her career, she assisted injured workers under the Florida Workers’ Compensation Act.
Subsequently, she worked for a national healthcare company managing their in-house workers’ compensation claims and gaining insight on how employers and insurance companies handle these claims, but quickly returned to her true passion, helping injured workers navigate their way through the workers’ compensation system and assisting them in obtaining the benefits they are entitled to.
In 2018, Heather joined Paul M. Doolittle, P.A. where her main focus was assisting claimants under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act. This prepared her for her role with our firm, assisting claimants under the Defense Base Act, an extension of the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act.
When she’s not in the office, Heather can usually be found exploring one of Florida’s many state parks with her dogs.
